Glowlight Tetra (Hemigrammus erythrozonus) is a small, energetic species of tetra. They are docile, and compatible with other small, docile fish (including other small tetra species). They have clear, beige bodies with a neon orange lateral stripe running from nose to tail.

These small tetras are a shoaling species, so it is recommended that a group of 6+ Glowlight Tetra is housed in no less than 10 gallons of water. These fish require a water temperature between 74-82 degrees Fahrenheit, and do best at a pH between 5.8 and 7.5. These fish are hardy and can adapt to most tank environments.

These community fish will do well with most other small, community fish spcies. they are considered non-aggressive and are safe to keep with shrimp and snails.
