Corkscrew Vallisneria is an easy-to-grow plant with long, slender, green leaves. This particular species of Vallisneria has leaves that grow in a spiral shape, giving a "corkscrew" effect. This listing is for a cluster of corkscrew val, approx. 4 inches tall.
These plants do well in low-light, but medium light is preferred for growth. Each blade will grow up to 10 inches, and will propagate by sending out shoots and generating new plants from them. Due to their length, they are best used as a background plant. They do best in temperatures from the low-70's to low-80's. Finer gravel or sand is recommended for best growth.
