The Lambchop Rasbora (Trigonostigma espei), is a small, colourful species of rasbora. These little fish have pinkish-cream bodies and a black "lambchop-shaped" marking down their sides. They closely resemble Glowlight Tetra, though Glowlight Rasbora tend to stay smaller and have a distinct neon orange stripe.

These lovely small fish species generally get slightly larger than 1" in length. These fish should be kept in shoals of at least 3 members, though show the most interesting behavior in groups of 6+. A very small group of 3 can be kept in a 5-gallon comfortably, but a larger group should be kept in at least 10 gallons of water.  These fish do best in water temperatures between 74-84 degrees Fahrenheit and require a pH between 5.0-7.5.

These fish are exceptionally peaceful and are not known to nip other species. They can be kept with any other peaceful aquatic animal. Examples include guppies, platies, small tetra species, small barb species, dwarf gourami, and corydora catfish. Always research the compatibility of the animals you wish to keep together.
